The groom was reported to be crafting the cash cape

The result was a stunning accessory that symbolized financial prosperity for the newlyweds.

By donning the cash cape, the couple received well wishes for a prosperous life together.

Additionally, the couple's first dance together included a crash sheet, with $17,000 being thrown over the bride's shoulder at the wedding.

While some couples opt for a slow dance with family members pinning cash to their wedding attire, others take a more elaborate approach.

The video went quickly viral and sparked discussion on social media.

One person said: This could be caused by one of two things either the groom is whipped by the cookie jar or she is a very special bride

A second wrote: IMHO, that is in very poor taste, but I guess he knows her well, because she was "delighted." Ugh. I would have hated that.

While a third commented: That money could be use for so much more nothing but the rich can afford.

Another added: Omg I'm rich.....put the cape on and you can be super rich

Someone else said: Now she calls herself SUPERWOMAN

Another user said: certain demographics value money above all else.

These days I notice that weddings are all about show n tell for clout. Nothing's about sincerity and love anymore. Another added.

Additionally, this is known as a money dance, a tradition in the Philippines.

However, the Philippines isn't the only country with a money dance tradition.

Countries like Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Nigeria, and Mexico also incorporate similar customs into their wedding celebrations. These traditions serve as both a symbolic and practical way to bless the couple with financial fortune.
