Recently, law enforcement officers in Crawford County, Missouri pulled over what appeared to be an alien spacecraft traveling down the interstate.

On the evening of July 1, 2024, deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office spotted a mysterious vehicle committing a lane violation.
After closer inspection, they realized this was no ordinary car, it looked more like a 'spacecraft' from another world.
In a Facebook post, the Crawford County Sheriff's Office described the unusual encounter in a lighthearted manner, referring to the driver of the spacecraft-like vehicle as "friendly humanoids, who have come in peace."
The driver of the space-age vehicle, which had an expired Indiana license plate, was pulled over for a traffic violation.
However, the deputies quickly realized this was no routine traffic stop.
According to Public Information Officer and Undersheriff Major Adam Carnal, the driver of the spacecraft-like vehicle understood the potential for lane violations due to the wind, traffic, and the size and aerodynamics of his unusual vehicle.
"With the wind/traffic of the interstate plus the size and aerodynamics of his vehicle, he understood that the potential for lane violations existed," they said.
Rather than issuing a citation, the officers decided to provide the driver with a written warning.
Carnal noted that due to the good nature of the driver and the interesting nature of the vehicle, the department decided to share the encounter on social media for the community to enjoy.
According to the sheriff's office, the driver of the spacecraft-like car was en route to Roswell, New Mexico, for a festival.
Roswell is well-known for the 1947 event when a supposed UFO crashed. This led to many conspiracy theories and guesses about visits from aliens for many years.
The Facebook post quickly went viral, garnering over 12,000 reactions from users who were captivated by the out-of-this-world sighting.
