Discrepancy in voter turnout raises eyebrows

Anonymous took to Twitter shortly after Donald Trump’s projected victory was confirmed.

They compared voter turnout in 2020 and 2024, noting a significant drop in Democratic votes. In 2020, Joe Biden received 81 million votes, while Trump secured 74 million.

In 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris garnered 66 million votes, and Trump reached 71 million.

Anonymous questioned how 15 million Democrats and 3 million MAGA supporters seemed to have “sat this one out.”

The group’s tweet sparked immediate reactions. Many supporters voiced their disbelief at the numbers, with some attributing the lower turnout to the pandemic in 2020.

The tweet from Anonymous fueled a wave of reactions on social media.

“Something doesn’t add up. In 2020 Biden had 81 Million votes, Trump had 74 Million votes. In 2024 Harris got 66 Million votes, Trump got 71 million votes.

“15 Million Democrats decided to sit this one out? 3 Million MAGA decided to sit this one out? No f***ing way.”

In the comment selection, many commenters expressed confusion and skepticism. One person pointed out that people voted in large numbers during the COVID-19 pandemic, but turnout in 2024 seemed to be lower. Another commenter speculated that the election could be linked to the “secret” Trump had hinted at during his campaign.

Other reactions suggested something was amiss. “It stinks of s***,” one user wrote, pointing out the missing 10-15 million voters. Some people reported seeing voters who had switched parties, which added to the uncertainty.

He won key battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and North Carolina. Trump also took a strong lead in Nevada, Arizona, and Nebraska, clinching several important electoral votes.

During his victory speech, Trump claimed to have made history and emphasized his commitment to America’s future. “Every single day I will be fighting for you,” he stated. “This will truly be the golden age for America.”

The 2024 election has raised doubts and fueled conspiracy theories.

The voter turnout discrepancies noted by Anonymous have only added to the debate. As the U.S. prepares for Trump’s return to the Oval Office in January 2025, the controversy surrounding the election results is likely to continue.
