After leaving Frogmore Cottage, the Invictus Games founder and former actress has nowhere to stay when she visits the UK, even staying at friends' houses or hotels.

After six months of delay, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finally officially leaving Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

On June 29, The Sun reported that Harry and Meghan had cleared Frogmore Cottage and returned the keys to King Charles a day before the stipulated deadline. All remaining assets are transferred to the mansion in California.

"We can confirm that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved out of Frogmore Cottage," said royal treasurer Sir Michael Stevens.

Currently, the royal couple no longer has a home in the UK. If they were to return to their home country, they might have to rent a hotel or stay at a friend's house.

In such a scenario, they would have to cover all the expenses themselves, as the British royal family is reducing costs.

If Harry and Meghan want to remain in any royal family, they must make a separate agreement with King Charles. However, after filming a series of documentaries and memoirs, they barely spoke.

Frogmore Cottage was a wedding gift from the late Queen Elizabeth to Harry and Meghan. The house was renovated in 2019 to meet the couple's needs at a cost of about $3 million, according to the BBC.

Initially, this fee was deducted from taxes. However, Harry and Meghan had to repay the full amount due to abandoning their duties in the British royal family. It is unclear if they will get their money back after they leave home.

According to the Sun, an insider shared that “This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK."

King Charles intends to give Frogmore Cottage to Prince Andrew. The British monarch wants his brother to return the nearby 31-bedroom Royal Cottage because it is too grand for someone who is no longer a member of the royal family. However, Prince Andrew is said to have defied King Charles' orders.

In the event of Andrew's departure, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, could be next in line to move into the Royal Lodge.
