JJ Keefe, the father, reserved the rental while traveling to Canton, New York, to drop off his son Aidan at university.
He assumed the home would be spacious enough for the entire family, including their two dogs.

JJ’s daughter, Kylie, 25, filmed the family’s reaction to the tiny home. The rental’s downstairs measured only 114 square feet, with a loft of 96 square feet.
“My dad saw that it slept four and the cheap price and booked it with no second thought,” Kylie explained.
Realizing the cramped conditions, JJ arranged a nearby hotel stay for Kylie and Aidan.
However, he and his wife, Erika, decided to make the best of it and spent the night in the tiny home with their two dogs.
“They said the home was very cramped, but we were all laughing for pretty much our entire trip,” Kylie shared.
