According to a hygiene expert known as 'Madame Sweat,' she criticizes people for not washing their armpits correctly and offers the right way to cleanse this area, which may differ from what you're currently doing.

The internet star 'Madame Sweat' explained to her followers: 'If you're washing your underarms like this, with some tutti-frutti soap, I can guarantee you still have yesterday's deodorant on your underarms.'

To illustrate her point, she presented a video of a man washing his armpits, emphasizing the importance of using antibacterial soap and lathering for at least 30 seconds. She confirmed that he was doing it right because he used antibacterial soap.

Madame Sweat also highlighted the necessity of thorough cleaning for those with underarm hair, as it's essential to remove yesterday's deodorant.

She recommends using a 'good antibacterial soap' with ingredients like apple cider vinegar, salt, and charcoal. For example, charcoal cleansing soap can be found on Amazon for £4.99.

In the comments section, other viewers shared their own shower routines for achieving optimal cleanliness.

One person said: People use a lot of natural products or soaps without any fragrance because of allergies. There is no wrong way to shower. Everyone has their own preferences.

A second wrote: She should have added one of those long scrubbing clothes (online and in drugstores). You wash them after each use., like a washcloth. Between that as an exfoliant, the soap to combat the bacteria (which is what causes odor), and fully drying under your arms you should beat the problem without vinegar, salt, and charcoal.

A third commented: I always wash my armpits with an antibacterial soap, it doesn't contain all of those ingredients but it does the job just fine thank you.

Someone else said: Dial antibacterial bar soap. That's what healthcare workers use to sanitize after a 12-hour shift. Kills the bacteria that make body odor. It's a dollar at Dollar Tree. You're welcome.

Another wrote: We have known for years that antibacterial soap is bad. It helps create resistant germs. Any soap with warm water and friction will do the same. Salt water also helps create an environment where bacteria don't thrive in the axillary. Use antiperspirant, not deodorant.

Whether or not you choose to have armpit hair or not, male or female, all you need to do in your active years when you sweat and bathe or shower daily, is to wash with the same soap and water you use on the rest of your body; dry your armpits, and apply your favorite deodorant that works for you. Someone added.
