An influencer live-streamed the terrifying moment he was bitten by a snake, resulting in his emergency admission to the ICU.
Recently, social media influencer David Humplett live-streamed himself being bitten by a venomous snake.
The incident occurred on December 18 while he was exploring Shired Island in Florida.
As he shared the experience with his millions of followers, viewers watched in horror as his life was put in danger.

He was searching for snakes when he encountered an Eastern diamondback rattlesnake.
While peeling bark from a tree to find another type of snake, he accidentally frightened the rattlesnake.
The snake reacted quickly and bit him on the leg.
Immediately after the bite, Humplett expressed his fear, saying, “Welp, I’m cooked.”
He added: “Alright, that right there is a fantastic Eastern diamondback Rattlesnake that I just got bit in the leg by when I was peeling bark.”
The influencer described the pain as intense, comparing it to being attacked by an alligator.
The bite left him in shock, and he knew he had to get help fast.

Humplett was quickly taken to the hospital, fearing for his life.
He recalled feeling numb all over and worried that he might lose his leg.
“And then I just felt, out of nowhere, this intense pain, right in my leg. Honestly, it felt like an alligator,” Humphlett said, as per WCJB.
His situation was serious, and he required medical attention right away.
“My reaction was just like dang it, this is really bad,” he recalled. “I might lose my leg. It was petty scary because my whole body went numb head to toe.”
Doctors treated him with 88 vials of anti-venom to counteract the snake’s venom.
As he was admitted to the intensive care unit, his situation became critical.
The bite caused severe swelling in his leg, which turned purple, and felt like it was going to explode.
Medical staff worked hard to stabilize him while his family and followers remained anxious about his recovery.
Emma provided crucial support during David’s recovery.
During this difficult time, Emma Rynear, Humplett’s wife, expressed her concerns.
She was visibly shaken but tried to reassure him.
Emma shared how she rushed to the emergency room as soon as she heard about the incident.
“Internally, I’m panicking but externally, I’m reassuring him, ‘You’re going to be fine,’” she told reporters.
