Dell Simancas quickly sprang into action. He used a rope to tow Adrian to shore, all while keeping his son calm.

The video shows Adrian peacefully kayaking before the whale’s massive head appears.

Within moments, Adrian disappears beneath the waves. Seconds later, he resurfaces, gripping onto his yellow kayak.

His father can be heard shouting instructions. “Calm down, calm down, I’m coming,” Dell reassures him. He then hands Adrian a rope to help him stay afloat.

Still in shock, Adrian tells his father, “I thought it had swallowed me.”

Despite the horrifying encounter, Adrian and his father escaped without injury. They consider themselves incredibly lucky to have survived.

What happens if a whale actually swallows you?

The incident has sparked curiosity about what would happen if a whale swallowed a human and didn’t spit them out.

A new YouTube simulation video by Zackdfilms explains the grim reality.

“If you were swallowed by a sperm whale, you’d be squeezed down its massive throat. You’d continue into a series of stomach chambers filled with digestive acids,” the narrator explains.

“These acids would immediately start breaking down your body. Even if you avoided the acid, the lack of air would quickly cause you to suffocate.”

Social media reacts to Adrian’s story

Adrian’s experience has stunned viewers, with many expressing disbelief.

One user joked: If I get swallowed by a whale and then spit out, ‘tranquillo’ is NOT what I’m gonna be.

A second wrote: Dang, did he saw pinochio and geppetto?

While a third commented: Unbelievably lived.

Someone else said: Where did the whales Dad get a camera.

Another added: In such accidents even you survived physically you’ll never survive mentally

The encounter serves as a rare reminder of the unpredictable power of nature. Fortunately, Adrian and his father lived to tell the tale.
