In a since-deleted Instagram video reposted to TikTok, the daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne expressed her disapproval.

“It’s disturbing to see celebrities using people’s pain as a photo op to say, ‘Look, I’m helping,’” she stated.

Osbourne emphasized that helping should come from genuine intentions. “I don’t believe you help to get attention. You help because you want to,” she added.

The 40-year-old went on to criticize specific behaviors she found troubling. “No one asked you to come out and give hugs. Go home,” she said. Osbourne did not name specific individuals, but her remarks sparked speculation among fans.

Some assumed she was referring to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were recently photographed engaging in relief efforts.

Others mentioned actress Jennifer Garner as another potential subject of Osbourne’s comments.

Their charitable efforts were linked to their Archewell Foundation, which provided financial contributions for recovery initiatives.

The couple also toured burned areas, met local officials, and offered support to those affected.

Despite their actions, critics labeled their appearances as disingenuous.

Actress Justine Bateman referred to the couple as “disaster tourists” in a post on X. She called their publicized involvement “a repulsive photo op.”

Osbourne’s video received widespread attention, with many agreeing with her sentiment. “Well said. Meghan and Harry brought a full film crew for their PR stunt,” one user commented.

While Osbourne’s remarks highlight concerns about performative activism, they also shed light on the delicate balance between genuine support and public image in disaster relief efforts.

One person said: The motivations behind their actions can be complex and multifaceted. Perhaps it’s a mix of both genuine philanthropic efforts and a desire to maintain a positive public image

A second wrote: They always make the best of a tragedy to help themselves in some way rather than actually helping

While a third commemnted: What’s Kelly doing to help? That should be her focus, not calling out others.

Another added: I mean, there is bringing attention to the fires and trying to garner financial support for the communities and then there’s shameless self promotion

Someone else said: If they ‘re donating and helping out who cares ?
