According to report, the suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Paul Hyon Kim. He was arrested on Wednesday by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

“There’s nothing courageous about firebombing private property and terrorizing your local community,” Evans stated. “The self-righteous mob cheering you on today will forget about you tomorrow. In the end, you alone will be held responsible and could face a lengthy prison sentence.”

Evidence against the suspect

Investigators linked Kim to the crime through DNA evidence collected at the scene.

A search of his apartment and two vehicles uncovered multiple firearms, including rifles, a shotgun, and a handgun, along with ammunition and gun parts.

Authorities also found evidence of Kim’s social media activity, which allegedly showed ties to communist groups and Palestinian causes.

In recent weeks, Tesla dealerships and factories have been targeted in several violent incidents.

Many attacks have been linked to opponents of CEO Elon Musk and his involvement with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The FBI has classified these attacks as “domestic terrorism.”

In response, the agency has launched a task force in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) to investigate and prevent further incidents.

Authorities continue to investigate possible connections between Kim and other anti-Tesla attacks. Further charges may be announced as the case develops.
