Ishwar Deen, who comes from the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, invested a significant amount of time and $3,000 (equivalent to 250,000 Indian Rupees) in modifying his rather plain-looking vehicle.

With his brother Parmeshwar, Ishwar Deen worked tirelessly day and night for two months to make their idea a reality.

They added a propeller and a tail boom to their Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, creating a unique contraption that looked like a rusty shark.

Dubbed the "car copter" by its imaginative creator, the transformed vehicle was intended to serve as a unique attraction for special events such as weddings.

His 'car-copter' was seized by police

Unfortunately, Deen's hopes were crushed when the police pulled him over on his way to a nearby workshop for a paint job.

To his great disappointment, the authorities seized his creation, claiming that it broke the motor regulations in India. In addition to the confiscation of his creation, Deen was issued a fine of 2,000 rupees ($24).

The incident has sparked an investigation into whether the modifications made to the "car-copter" were done with proper authorization under the Motor Vehicles Act.

Authorities have made it clear that Deen can only reclaim his vehicle if he agrees to dismantle its alterations.

Speaking to ANI News, Deen defended his actions, emphasizing that the car was never intended for regular road usage.

Instead, he had envisioned renting it out as a special attraction during wedding seasons to generate additional income for his family.

Deen expressed frustration, pointing out that modified cars, such as jeeps, are commonly seen on the roads in Pratapgarh and Bihar without any restrictions.

Confirming the incident, Officer Vishal Pandey stated that the modified car was seized as part of routine vehicle checks conducted by traffic police.

Deen's creation has attracted the attention of many people because of his originality and craftsmanship.

Those tiny blades wont even elevate it from speed bump, one user said.

The police must have copter, the second commented.

Good idea but unfortunately that stuff just doesn't fly, another wrote.

Is it really less roadworthy than any other vehicle in India? Someone wrote.
