People are curious to know its secrets. As the auction begins, its true worth and future remain unknown.

The story behind this black book is quite captivating.

It was discovered on a New York sidewalk in the mid-1990s by a musician residing in Manhattan.

Forensic experts have since confirmed its authenticity, and it is believed to date back to that time period. Now, interested bidders must visit the Alexander Historical Auctions in Maryland if they wish to have this unique piece.

Interestingly, the black book being auctioned is not the same as the one held by the FBI since 2004. To protect the buyer's privacy, the older black book is being sold through a secret auction.

The auctioneers have revealed that among the book's 400 entries, there are some previously unknown contacts.

Remarkably, 94 names in the book have ticks next to them, while five names have been highlighted in yellow.

These highlighted names include well-recognized financial and industrial figures, such as Donald Trump. However, the significance of these checked and highlighted names remains unknown.
