Michael Diamond, a 48-year-old man, came across an artifact from World War II, crafted by a prisoner at the Stalag II-B camp in Germany.
He was stunned after capturing a creepy moment involving the doll blinking on CCTV footage.
He is convinced that his antique ventriloquist doll, Mr. Fritz, is haunted.
The horrifying video showed the ventriloquist doll moving its mouth.
Michael noticed that the door of the doll's glass display cabinet kept unlatching at least once or twice a week. To investigate this, he set up a GoPro camera during the late-night hours of September 19 and 20.
The truth behind the footage left him freaked out.
Mr. Diamond admitted he 'got a weird feeling in [his] gut' that was 'hard to describe' after replaying the horrifying footage.
The footage from these two nights revealed the doors of the cabinet swinging open. The doll's heavy eyes and lips were seen moving, as if it wanted to say something.
He believed that an antique ventriloquist doll was haunted after viewing CCTV footage.
The ventriloquist doll was observed with an eerie stillness, locked in reverence.
Although he is not scared of Mr Fritz, he is wary of it.
He was reported to keep the doll locked away in his 'freak room'. This is a space filled with collector's items such as taxidermy animals, skulls, and ancient weapons.
After the incident, Michael Diamond took measures to ensure safety.
To ensure no harm would come to the doll, Michael set up a CCTV camera overlooking it.
After capturing the doll's movements on camera, he was left shaken. As a precaution, he added a chain to the cabinet and covered it with a blanket to protect himself from this seemingly possessed entity.
Michael is left questioning the unexplainable events, stating, "What’s the explanation is the one million dollar question isn’t it? There are no open windows in the room and no airflow. The door is on a latch so shouldn’t just swing open."
Mr Fritz has a history that extends beyond its current UK location.
It was allegedly taken to America after the end of the war and was owned by an antique shop in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, before arriving in the UK.
Previously, a man was stunned after discovering a rag doll in the wall with a terrifying note inside his new house.
The incident occurred when Jonathan Lewis, 32, a homeowner in Walton, Liverpool, had just bought the property.
A primary school teacher was left shocked after deciding to explore the void underneath the stairs. He was stunned to find a rag doll with an ominous appearance.
The rag doll was holding a spine-chilling note, discovered as he explored the concealed space behind the wall.
The note contained strange text:
'Dear reader/new homeowner, thank you for freeing me!'My name is Emily. My original owners lived in this house in 1961. I didn't like them so they had to go.'All they did was sing and be merry. It was sickening. Stabbing was my choice of death for them so I hope you have knives.'Hope you sleep well.'
After the incident, his friends urged him to put his new property back on the market.
However, Mr. Lewis had a lighthearted reaction to the situation.
He said: 'The letter says 1961 but the estate agent mentioned that the kitchen was only renovated four or five years ago.'I think it must have been put there then because the paper doesn't look very old and appears relatively recent.'"
