Hannah Levine, 30, took a playful suggestion from her husband to the extreme.

While, she served an entire spaghetti dinner directly on the dining table.

The meal, intended for her daughter Willow, 10, and son Oakley, 5, was served without plates.

Levine’s children were initially confused, with Willow asking, “What are you doing?” and Oakley looking on curiously.

Levine’s children were baffled as she poured the pasta, sauce, and meatballs directly onto the table.

Despite their initial confusion, the children quickly embraced the unconventional dining method.

They abandoned their cutlery and dove into the meal.

The family’s three Yorkshire Terriers also joined the fun, making the meal a family-wide event.

Levine shared that the fully vegan meal cost approximately £10 and required only 30 seconds to clean up.

By using disposable tablecloths and tin foil, she protected the table surface and kept the food warm.

Levine noted that the no-wash-up method was not only efficient but also encouraged her children to eat more.

‘The idea was a joke at first,” Levine said. “I told my husband dinner was ready, and he suggested I ‘chuck it on the table.’ When I actually did it, the kids thought I was having a breakdown.”

The playful nature of the meal led to a fun competition between her children to see who could eat the most directly from the table.
