Elon Musk claims he has given Ashley St. Clair $2.5M and $500K annually, despite being uncertain about the child’s paternity.
Elon Musk recently made headlines after responding to claims from Ashley St. Clair, who alleges that he is the father of her child.
St. Clair, a conservative influencer, accused Musk of reducing his financial support for their son.
In a series of tweets, Musk defended himself and expressed his willingness to take a paternity test.

Ashley St. Clair accused Musk of being her son’s father
Ashley St. Clair claims that Musk is the father of her child, marking his 13th. The two reportedly conceived the child during a trip to St. Barts in January 2024.
Recently, St. Clair expressed her frustrations over what she described as Musk’s cutbacks on child support payments.
She sold her Tesla to cover financial needs, alleging that the billionaire’s actions were unfair.

Musk reveals giving Ashley $2.5M and sending her $500K yearly without knowing if the 13th child is his
In response to St. Clair’s accusations, Musk stated on social media that he has already provided her with $2.5 million.
He mentioned that he sends her $500,000 each year, even though he is uncertain if the child is truly his.
Musk emphasized his commitment to supporting the child, despite the ongoing uncertainty regarding paternity.
“I don’t know if the child is mine or not, but am not against finding out,” Musk wrote on X. “ No court order is needed.”
“Despite not knowing for sure, I have given Ashley $2.5M and am sending her $500k/year,” the Department of Government Efficiency chief claimed.

St. Clair responded to Musk’s claims
In her tweets, St. Clair accused Musk of being a “petulant man-child” for not confirming paternity earlier.
She claimed that he had refused to take a test even before their child was born.
“Elon, we asked you to confirm paternity through a test before our child (who you named) was even born. You refused,” St. Clair wrote on X.
“And you weren’t sending *me* money, you were sending support for your child that you thought was necessary… until you withdrew most of it to maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience,’” she added. “But you’re really only punishing your son.

“It’s ironic that your last effort in court was to try to gag me while you use a social media channel you literally own to distribute derogatory messages about me and our child to the entire world.
It’s all about control with you, and everyone can see it,” she continued.
“America needs you to grow up, you petulant man-child.”
St. Clair Ashley admitted to selling her Tesla for her child
To cope with the alleged reduction in child support, St. Clair sold her Tesla, which she valued at $100,000.
She stated that she needed to make up for what she described as a significant cut in financial support from Musk.
“I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she said.
“You can check the stocks, I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes,” she quipped.

Social media reactions
Public reactions to this situation have varied widely.
Some people have criticized St. Clair, accusing her of trying to gain financially from her relationship with Musk.
Others have supported her, arguing that she deserves fair treatment and support for her child.
One user said: Apparently she wants money for herself. If he’s giving her $500K a year for the kid then she doesn’t need anything else from Elon. It’s child support, not baby mama support.
The second user wrote: 2.5 mil and $500k a year is more than suitable to support a child. Elon has also been paying for her home.
Did she think she hit the lotto and would now be a billionaire?
The third user commented: The richest guy in the world somehow has convinced MAGA dolts that what he’s giving his kid is enough because for normal working people it is enough, but it’s drop in the bucket for a guy like him.
He’s cheating his kid and kids mom. He need to pay a lot more. It’s not enough for HIS kid.
The fourth user said: What’s interesting is she hasn’t disclosed how much Musk has given her yet plays the victim.
She definitely thought she found her way onto easy street.
Another user wrote: She can’t get by for herself and one child on $500,000/year? Planned pregnancy?
Someone added: 2.5 million and $500,000 a month and she’s claiming he cut back his support? I hope so.
Who needs $500k a month for child support?? That would be thrown out in any family court
