A plane passenger who received a romantic note from the captain apologizes, believing the pilot didn’t intend for it to go public.
A South Carolina woman recently went viral after receiving a romantic note from a pilot during her time at the airport.
The incident has drawn much attention online, and the woman has since expressed her regret for the situation.
A female passenger receives unexpected romantic note from a pilot
The woman, named Steph Bohrer, was at Atlanta airport when a pilot approached her. He placed a brown napkin in front of her and walked away.
The napkin had a message written on it: “I have seen the whole world and you are the most beautiful human in it.”

Bohrer was surprised by the note and shared a video of it on TikTok. The clip quickly gained popularity, amassing over 21 million views.
Many people reacted positively, offering words of encouragement and support. However, others warned her that the pilot might already be in a relationship.
Bohrer was surprised by the unexpected viral attention.
As the video gained traction, Bohrer was taken aback by the level of interest it generated. She felt that the situation was being blown out of proportion.
In a follow-up video, she addressed her followers and clarified what had happened.
She explained that she did not expect to be in the news over a simple compliment.
Bohrer mentioned that the pilot who wrote the note was not even the one flying her plane.

She had not seen his face clearly, which added to her confusion about the situation.
Her friend, Maya, was the one who noticed the pilot and observed him for a brief moment.
“I wasn’t gonna make a follow-up video about this, but I just have been getting sent like news articles all day, like I’m literally on the national news,” Bohrer explained.
“And I don’t know why, because I just posted this innocent little video.”
The passenger says sorry for thrusting pilot into spotlight after viral video
After realizing the attention the note received, Bohrer decided to apologize to the pilot.
She felt that he did not intend for his gesture to become public.

In her video, she expressed her regret, saying, “I don’t think he wanted this to be on the news, and I’m really sorry he just was giving me a compliment.”
She emphasized that the note was meant as a simple kind gesture and not a declaration of love.
Bohrer wanted to make it clear that she did not want to set up any romantic situation, saying, “You don’t have to set us up … I’m good.”

Social media reactions
One user said: Too gorgeous for me so I’d pass her by to avoid the expenses.
The second user added: People’s need to post EVERYTHING on social media will cause the downfall of society as we know it.
The third user wrote: He didn’t want “this,” but you did.
The fourth user commented: So she don’t want it to be in the news so she posts another comment. Come on, woman! Maybe the whole thing is made up.
Another user said: Even if it was true, no smart man should ever give a compliment to a woman, because this is exactly what will happen to them. Doxxed on social media.
