Passengers on a cruise ship were left in panic after the cruise ship tilted 45 degrees in the Atlantic Ocean over severe weather conditions.
A recent incident aboard Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas has left passengers in shock.
The ship reportedly tilted 45 degrees due to severe weather conditions.

The Explorer of the Seas is a luxurious cruise ship.
The ship features amenities such as a skating rink, mini-golf course, waterslides, and a rock climbing wall.
The ship was carrying over 5,000 passengers and crew members.
It encountered unexpected weather near Tenerife, part of the Canary Islands off the West African coast.
While traveling from Barcelona to Miami, a sudden gust of wind struck the ship, escalating from 46 mph to 86 mph.
The fierce wind caused havoc on the ship, knocking drinks off tables and tossing items in shops as though ransacked.
Passengers panic as the cruise ship tilts 45 degrees in the Atlantic.
Inside the ship, things started to fly everywhere. Drinks toppled off tables, and items from shops scattered across the floors.
Passengers reported a chaotic scene, with many struggling to maintain their balance as the ship titled dramatically.
Bottles behind the bar smashed on the floor, and clothing racks flew into disarray.
One passenger, Jonathan Parrish, described the experience: “I think there was about five minutes in there where everybody was wondering what was going on,
but as soon as the captain came on and made the announcement of what had happened, it kind of gave you a sense of calmness.”
As the ship made a hard right turn followed by an even more intense maneuver, passengers clung to anything they could grab to avoid falling.
The strong winds threw advertising boards and other items across walkways, creating a hazardous environment.
During the incident, one person sustained injuries and required medical attention.
Royal Caribbean responded to the accident
In response, authorities redirected the Explorer of the Seas to Las Palmas in the Canary Islands to provide necessary medical assistance.
A Royal Caribbean spokesperson confirmed the situation, stating: “During an unexpected wind gust near Tenerife, Spain, one of our sailings experienced sudden movement.
One of our guests was injured and requires additional medical care, so the ship will make a call in Las Palmas, Spain for medical disembarkation.”
