A restaurant owner is enticing customers to get a tattoo of his logo. In return, they will receive free food for life.
A restaurant owner in Greater Manchester has come up with a bold idea to reward loyal customers.
Sebastian Coman, owner of Chip N’Go, offers free meals for life to anyone with a tattoo of his restaurant’s logo.
Restaurant owner offers lifetime free food for customers who have specific tattoo
Sebastian, 36, started this unique promotion as a joke to see how far his customers would go for free food.
To his surprise, two customers already got the tattoo.
Now, Sebastian says he will allow three more people to join this exclusive club of tattooed fans who can enjoy a free meal every day.
The concept is simple: anyone who gets the Chip N’Go logo tattooed on their body will receive a free meal from the restaurant each day.
Sebastian has made it clear that there are no restrictions on the size or location of the tattoo.
Whether it’s small or large, as long as they get it, they will be entitled to their daily free meal.
Sebastian opened Chip N’Go two years ago and has built a loyal customer base.
“I have customers coming back every day and praising the food, which puts me in a good mood.
“A lot of people were joking about it but then I started getting messages about what tattoo size to get and where to get it,” he said.
He often hears from happy customers who love the food. This positive feedback inspired him to see how dedicated his fans really are.
He thought, “If people enjoy the food so much, let’s see how far they will go.” This led to the idea of offering free meals for a tattoo.
A customer affirmed this trade was worth saving money
One of the customers who took the plunge is Kevin Taylor, a 49-year-old man who has been eating at Chip N’Go every week for the past two years.
Kevin decided to get the tattoo on his forearm because he calculated that he would save about $408 a year with the free meals.
He mentioned that the tattoo cost him $70, which he thinks is a great deal considering the savings.
“It’s well worth it,” the customer said.
Kevin added: “He always changes it up, my all-time favourite meal there is an Asian street food one but that’s not on the menu at the moment.
“I think my favourite is a chicken fajita meal, you get sour cream and bread all on top of the perfect chips – they are never frozen and it’s so good.”
For him, getting the tattoo was a no-brainer, as he is a dedicated fan of Chip N’Go.
Sebastian has plans to expand his restaurant in the near future.
He hopes to open another location, and customers with the logo tattoo will receive free meals there as well.
This means that anyone who participates in the tattoo promotion will be able to enjoy free food not just at the current location but at future ones too.
“Hopefully, we are expanding next year as planned and will be opening a new shop, so they will get a free meal from there as well.
They will get a free meal everywhere we go,” Sebastian added.
