Carl Froch, a former professional boxer, has stirred up controversy with his claims that the Earth is not round.

Instead, he insists that it is flat.

Carl Froch is a well-known British boxer who competed from 2002 to 2014.

He is famous for his achievements in the ring and has since become a boxing analyst and commentator.

In recent months, Froch has attracted attention not only for his boxing insights but also for his unusual beliefs about the shape of the Earth.

During a podcast called Pound for Pound, Forch made headlines by stating that he believes the Earth is flat.

He accused NASA, the space agency, of presenting fake images of Earth and claimed that the evidence for a round Earth is lacking.

He expressed his thoughts clearly, saying, “The Earth is flat, 100 percent.”

“There’s no proof of the Earth’s curvature, and this fake space agency, NASA, uses CGI images, and everyone is different.

“I’m looking at them thinking, ‘Hang on a minute, they’re like cartoons.’

“When someone like Richard Branson goes up there and starts doing chartered flights… and you can look back on Earth and see the Earth’s curvature, I’ll believe the Earth is a globe.”

The former boxer also accused NASA of lying about the shape of Earth.

Froch’s statements did not stop at the shape of the Earth.

He also accused NASA of using computer-generated images, which he described as looking like cartoons.

He demanded solid proof to support the idea that the Earth is a globe.

“Here’s the problem. I’ve tried to prove – and I challenge anybody listening to this – prove that the Earth is spherical. Prove that it’s round. Prove that it’s actually a globe.”

Froch argued that if someone like Richard Branson could travel to space and see the Earth’s curvature, he would start to believe in a round Earth.

Until that happens, he remains unconvinced.

Responses from others

In response to Froch’s claims, his podcast co-host, Macklin, shared an experience of traveling from Los Angeles to Brisbane.

He noted that the flight took around 12 hours, which suggests that the Earth is round.

Macklin replied: “All I know is that when Michael Conlan was boxing in Brisbane, we left LA and flew west and 12 hours later we were in Brisbane.

“So I don’t see how the world can possibly be flat.”

However, Froch confusingly claimed one could map a journey on a flat Earth and reach the same destinations.

He responded: “I could get a piece of A4 paper, write down the center of the flat Earth – which is the North Pole – and write down the ice wall – which is right down the south side – all the way around the circumference of the flat Earth,

and you would circumnavigate and you’d get from where you just said [L.A.] to where you just said [Brisbane] in the same flight path.

Accusations about the Moon landing

Froch did not limit his skepticism to just the shape of the Earth. He also claimed that the Moon landing was faked.

He suggested that the technology used during the Apollo missions was far too weak to achieve such a feat.

“The equipment they used to get up there was as powerful as a Zedec Spectrum,” he stated.

“It was a computer when I was a kid. We can’t get there now, and I think everything we’ve been told about the Moon landing [is made up].

“When you look at all of the evidence, all the footage, and the fact that they lost all of the telemetric data that tells you that they went to the Moon then I would say that we did not go to the Moon.

“Man did not walk on the Moon. That was a big f***ing lie.”
