Now online as an active girl, Panna is a frequent volunteer who loves animals and has rescued many cats and dogs. Therefore, when her neighbors found a dog that had been abandoned by its owner, they called Panna, who they thought could help find a new owner for the dog.

During an interview with Zing.vn, Panna expressed her sadness when she saw Heng sitting in front of the house in the rain. The dog had been waiting for its owner for about a month and had been fed by several locals during that time.
However, when Panna offered to take Heng away, the locals did not agree because they did not believe she could find a good owner for the animal. Instead, Panna took some photos and posted them on her homepage, asking netizens for help.
Knowing the story, a successful woman named Soraya didn't say anything to Panna but sent several employees to ask for Heng to be adopted. People agreed because they thought Mrs. Soraya was very rich and could take good care of the dog.
However, Mrs. Soraya didn't bring Heng home but took the animal to the dog shelter she owned. Here, abandoned dogs are taken care of by Mrs. Soraya's staff, but each is locked in an iron cage so as not to fight or infect each other.
Panna said that because Heng wasn't used to the new environment, he kept biting the iron bars, demanding to go out. Seeing the image of Heng in an iron cage, many netizens criticized Ms. Soraya. This made her very angry because "she holds a grudge" and she doesn't want to talk to people who are asking to adopt Heng.
A man then contacted Panna, claiming to be the dog's owner and wanting the pet back. She also hoped he could meet Heng, relying on the animal's attitude to determine its true owner. But with Mrs. Soraya's current mood, Panna didn't know if the man could meet Heng or not.
Many people blamed Panna for not finding a way to take Heng away but for handing it over to Mrs. Soraya. She also partly blamed herself, thinking that the best way at that time was to keep Heng in her hometown, while she went online to find the owner of the animal. However, she sympathized with the businesswoman when she came under heavy criticism.
In addition, Pan Na said that she felt sad that she could not intervene in Heng's affairs because Heng was adopted by Mrs. Soraya.
"Dogs, in my opinion, are animals that are affectionate and exceedingly loyal. Even many 'friends' have deeper feelings than some people," said the 26-year-old.
