While removing the internal organs of the duck to clean, Binh An found a stone inside. This stone looks quite similar to a glass bead.

One day in 1984, the family of Tran Binh An's sister-in-law, a farmer from Hubei, China, came to visit him. Tran Binh An's family decided to invite them to stay for a meal.

Later, Binh An went to pick some duck eggs from the coop to cook. Unexpectedly, he found a duck lying dead. Therefore, Binh An decided to take it home for meat.

Binh An held the stone to examine it, not taking his eyes off it. He immediately told his wife that he had found a glass bead inside the duck's belly. Quickly throw it away and cook; there's nothing fragrant in there," his wife responded.

However, Binh An found this stone to be very beautiful, so he secretly put it in his pocket.

One day, when he had some free time, Binh An took out the stone to study it. He felt that the stone had a very clear structure, unlike normal stones.

Binh An suddenly remembered seeing a photo of a similar glass bead in a newspaper. He quickly found it and compared it. Indeed, the two stones have many similarities.

According to the information in the newspaper, the stone in the photo is a natural diamond that a girl in Lâm Thuật district, Sơn Đông province, picked up.

Binh An wanted to check if his stone was a diamond, so he decided to find an appraisal expert. However, there was no one in the area where he lived, so Binh An had to ride to the city to find an expert.

After careful evaluation, the expert confirmed that the stone Binh An found in the duck's belly was a diamond. Moreover, it is a high-quality diamond because it is absolutely clean, with no impurities inside or any flaws on the outside when viewed under a 10x magnifying glass.

Therefore, based on the water of the diamond, it is ranked D.

There are two categories of diamonds: colored ones and colorless ones. In reality, it is very rare to find a diamond that has no color. The natural color of diamonds is usually yellow, brown, or gray. Thanks to that, the diamond color chart began to appear.

According to the criteria of the Gemological Institute of America, the water or clarity of a diamond is graded on a scale from D to Z (with D being almost colorless and Z being dark yellow or light brown). The adjacent levels of diamonds are often difficult to distinguish with the naked eye.
