Speculation grows about a Super Bowl proposal
Rumors are circulating that Travis Kelce may propose to Taylor Swift if the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl.
Fans and bettors alike are placing wagers on whether the couple will celebrate with an engagement after the game.
Kelce remained coy when asked about a possible halftime proposal.

Ed Kelce dismisses engagement rumors
Travis Kelce’s father, Ed, addressed the speculation on the “Jimmy & Nath Breakfast Show” on 2DayFM. He made it clear that an engagement announcement was unlikely.
“That’s just noise. That’s white noise, meaningless,” Ed stated. “Okay, I’m never going to be announcing the engagement on a radio show in Australia.”
In an interview, Ed Kelce also gave advice to his son. While denying knowledge of a proposal, Ed offered his perspective on engagements.
“My advice to him would be, and I’m not saying I have any knowledge that this is going to happen, okay. I think your engagement needs to be separate from any other event. It has to be about the two of you.”

In October 2024, Travis and Taylor denied rumors of a secret engagement after football analyst John Aikman called Swift Kelce’s “missus” on-air. Despite this, speculation continues.
When asked if Travis was a romantic, Ed affirmed that he was.
“If he were to propose to Taylor, would it be extravagant or private?” Nath asked.
“I think it would be romantic,” Ed replied.
A possible two-part proposal? In an unintentional slip, Ed hinted at a potential proposal plan.
“Well, there’s gonna be something extravagant, [and] something more private,” he said.
Swift embraces the football world
Taylor Swift has arrived at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX. This marks her second consecutive Super Bowl appearance while supporting Kelce’s team.
Ed Kelce noted how much Swift has learned about football since dating his son.
“Last year, she didn’t know much about football,” Ed said. “She would sit between her dad and me, asking questions to understand the game better.”
Swift has since become more knowledgeable, even offering strategic commentary.
“At the last home game against Texas, they got into the red zone but couldn’t score a touchdown,” Ed recalled. “I said, ‘I really hate field goals in the red zone,’ and she responded, ‘No, I’ll take the points.’”

Swift attended the game alongside Este Haim and Ice Spice in a VIP viewing area. She was briefly seen on the Fox Sports pre-game show wearing an all-white outfit, including a blazer over shorts and thigh-high boots.
Kelce’s game-day look also caught attention. He arrived in an oversized, sparkly orange suit, paired with black-and-white loafers, dark sunglasses, and a large gold rose pin.
