Donna Kelce, Kelce's mother, has shared her thoughts about Taylor Swift's album
Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, recently shared her thoughts on Taylor Swift's latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department' (TTPD), which was released on April 19.
At the Age of Possibility Summit in Las Vegas, the 71-year-old expressed her admiration for Swift's work to People magazine.
She stated, "I listened to the whole album, and I listened to it all morning long when it was released. I was just very impressed. She is a very talented woman, and I think it is probably her best work."
In the interview, Donna, Travis Kelce, gives her advice to Taylor Swift
When asked if she had any advice for the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker regarding aging, Donna responded, "She doesn't need my advice on anything. In fact, I hope she will give me advice."
During her appearance at the summit, Donna also had the opportunity to discuss Swift's 11th studio album in an interview with Us Weekly.
Since the release of TTPD, fans have been theorizing about the meanings behind the tracks, including possible references to Swift's exes Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, as well as her current boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
Donna expressed her curiosity about which songs might be about her son, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. She said, "I know there's a few that some people think are about Travis but we'll just see. You know, I'll have to ask her when I see her."
When asked about her favorite song from the album, Donna admitted that she doesn't really have one, but she reiterated her praise for the album, stating, "It's her best one!"
Previously, Travis's mom also recently revealed that her son and Taylor had a beach date in Carmel, California, with stars Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.
Donna mentioned that Bradley's mom, Gloria, would also be attending the QVC Summit Conference with her.
Additionally, Travis Kelce's mom expressed her deep admiration for Taylor.
Donna Kelce has been fond of Taylor Swift since their first meeting. The two women often sat together in the stands to cheer on Travis during the 2023-2024 season.
Last November, Donna told People that she attended Taylor's Eras Tour concert. "I loved it. It was amazing," she said, adding that she was completely captivated by the talented young singer.
Since the release of Swift's 11th studio album – even before its official launch – it has shattered numerous records, including becoming the most streamed album on Spotify in a week with over one billion streams.
Additionally, Taylor Swift has previously described the Tortured Poets album as "a collection of new works reflecting events, opinions, and emotions from a fleeting yet momentous moment – a moment that is both thrilling and heartbreaking."
