AndAfter a heartfelt TikTok invitation went viral, former President Donald Trump surprised 104-year-old WWII veteran Denver Moore with a special birthday message.

World War II veteran Denver Moore of Ohio had one special birthday wish: a greeting from his favorite president, Donald Trump.

That wish came true just in time for his 104th birthday.

Moore, a longtime Trump supporter, gained widespread attention earlier this year when a TikTok video featuring him inviting Trump to his birthday party went viral.

The video, posted in March, captured hearts nationwide and has since gathered more than 890,000 views.

In the clip, Moore expressed his hope to vote for Trump again and warmly extended an invitation to the former president.

“President Trump, I’m gonna be 104 in May, and I’m inviting you to my birthday party in Canal Fulton,” he said.

“I got to vote for you again, and I hope I can vote for you some more.”

While the former president couldn’t attend the celebration in person, he ensured his message was delivered.

On Thursday, Moore was presented with a personal video message from Trump, hand-delivered by Congressman Michael Rulli of Ohio.

In the video, Trump wished Moore a happy 104th birthday, calling himself “your all-time favorite president.”

He explained his absence by noting his involvement with pressing international matters like Russia, Ukraine, and China.

Trump went on to praise Moore’s service to the nation and thanked him for his continued support.

“I want to wish you a very happy 104th birthday from your all-time favorite president. That’s me, Donald Trump,” he continues.

“And I’m sorry we weren’t able to get to your party. I would love to get to your party, but I’m working on Russia, Ukraine, China, and all sorts of other places, and I know you want us to do well.”

“But I want just to thank you for your incredible service to our nation and for your support for making America great again. A very, very special man you are, and happy birthday,” he continued.

Veteran’s Reaction and Widespread Support Online

Moore watched the message from his residence at Danbury Senior Living in Massillon, a small town near Cleveland.

Reacting with a grin and a sense of humor, Moore responded, “Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.”

His story and birthday request reached far beyond Ohio. Following the viral video, Moore received cards and messages from across the U.S. and even from as far away as Africa.

He described the experience as surreal, telling Fox News Digital, “It’s been quite a ride.”

Congressman helped coordinate the Presidential Greeting

Rep. Michael Rulli, who represents Moore’s district, said he was deeply moved by the veteran’s story.

Upon seeing the viral video, Rulli reached out to the Trump team to arrange something memorable.

He praised the staff at Danbury Senior Living for their collaboration and highlighted Moore’s life as an inspiring example of patriotism.

“His life and service are a testament to the spirit of our nation,” Rulli said. “I’m proud we could celebrate him in such a meaningful way.”

A life of service and enduring love

Denver Moore served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

After his military service, he spent two decades working for the U.S. Postal Service.

He and his late wife, Thelma Lee, raised three children together during their 75-year marriage. Thelma passed away in 2022 at the age of 95.

Despite his age, Moore remains mentally sharp and physically active. His longevity, he says, stems from a lifetime of movement and dedication.

“I was always active, doing something,” he explained. “I carried mail for 20 years. And I grew up on a farm. If we didn’t have anything to do, we created something.”

His advice for a long life? “Stay active,” he said. And, with a smile, he added, “Marry the right woman and live with her all of her life.”
