According to New York Post report, a plane passenger caused a split in public opinion by entertaining fellow travelers with a movie projected on the surface of an overhead bin.
Douglas Lazickirk, a passenger on the aircraft, captured a video of an inventive in-flight entertainment act. However, the identity of the person behind this antic has not been made public.
He posted a video on his Instagram account with the caption: “This guy set up a projector screen and started playing a film mid-flight".
The video described the airplane in darkness as the 2000 action film "The Patriot" illuminates the surface of the overhead bin. Although no sound accompanies the projection, the passenger added subtitles to ensure that everyone was able to follow.
Lazickirk's video clip also unveils the absence of seatback screens on the aircraft, which likely led to the appreciation of numerous passengers who were able to relax and enjoy a movie during their airborne journey.
Many people enjoyed watching Lazickirk's video, one excitedly leaving the comment "Honestly, I love it,"
"I was bored on a long-haul flight, thank you for the entertaining movie!" one person enjoyed!
Another person exclaimed, "What the hell?!" Even, another viewer wished for the recognition of the impropriety of such actions, particularly noting that the movie featuring Heath Ledger and Mel Gibson was unsuitable for children onboard.
