A vegetarian was left shocked and horrified after accidentally cooking a sausage that resembled a pig with a snout and ears for her boyfriend.

Chrissie Anker, a 21-year-old vegetarian from Bedfordshire, faced an unusual dilemma when cooking for her meat-eating boyfriend, Joe Williams, 25, and their daughter.
Chrissie decided to treat her family to sausage and chips, a rare occurrence in their primarily meat-free household.
While checking on the sausages, Chrissie noticed one that appeared to have ears and a snout.
She was horrified by its resemblance to a pig. “I usually cook vegetarian meals, but I wanted to do something special for Joe and our daughter,” Chrissie shared.

When, Chrissie found the sausage so unsettling that she initially took a picture but deleted it immediately. Despite her revulsion, Joe found the situation amusing and still ate the sausage.
“I thought I’d give him something different because I felt bad, it’s a rare treat in our house. I noticed what looked like ears.
Chrissie said: “I was telling Joe then when I opened the door, it looked like it had a snout as well.”
She added: “I was so disgusted, I thought it was horrible. I took a picture of it to show my family because I thought it was funny, but I had to delete it straight away because it was so horrible.”

“I’ve always loved animals and was never bothered about eating meat,” she explained. Cooking meat stresses her, especially ensuring it’s properly prepared.
Although the incident was shocking, Chrissie took it in stride. “I thought it was funny and didn’t expect so many people to react,” she admitted.
