A woman arrested for defecating in the parking

The incident occurred in Natick, Massachusetts.

Andrea Grocer, from Ashland, was arrested early Wednesday morning after police spotted her using the parking lot of the Natick Outdoor Store as a bathroom.

This shocking act occurred just before 7 a.m.

The police discovered feces and investigated the incident.

The situation began in December when store owner Henry Kanner noticed piles of feces in the parking lot. At first, the waste was thought to be from an animal, however, toilet paper and wipes nearby led investigators to believe the culprit was human. Consequently, they began looking for human involvement.

Police increased patrols and caught grocer in the act

After several such incidents, police increased patrols in the area.

They were able to catch Grocer in the act, witnessing her defecating from the driver’s side door of her 2018 Lincoln MKX SUV.

The officer immediately pulled her over after she drove away.

Grocer was arrested and apologized after being apprehended

Grocer explained to the officer that she suffers from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and was on her way to a job where she works as a nanny.

Then, She apologized for her actions, promising not to use the parking lot as a bathroom again.

The officer pointed out that there were public restrooms nearby. Then, Grocer’s employer confirmed that she had access to a bathroom at her workplace.

Grocer faced legal action for the destruction of property

Kanner, the store owner, expressed relief, saying, “I’m so happy they arrested her. I have no idea who she is.”

Grocer was arraigned on charges of wanton destruction of property; however, while a lawyer described her as a ‘pillar of the community,’ no explanation was provided for her actions.

Grocer was released from jail without bail and is due back in court on March 2.

Grocer’s case highlights the impact of medical conditions on public behavior.

Although her actions were certainly disturbing, it nevertheless raises important questions about the intersection of health issues and public conduct.
