The ticket she acquired was mistakenly printed, earning Lori and her family a significant amount of money.

This recent win is not the first time Lori has struck gold through a ticket printed in error.

Back in June 2019, she walked away with an impressive $54,000 from another Pick 5 drawing, where once again, the ticket had been mistakenly printed.

It appears that Lori has a knack for capitalizing on unexpected opportunities and turning mistakes into substantial financial gains.

Upon learning of her latest win, Lori expressed her proactive approach to seizing such fortunate occurrences.

She stated, “I don’t let the mistakes go, I don’t just let them sit there.”

This is not the first case

Remarkably, Lori is not the only individual to experience multiple strokes of luck in the lottery.

Just last month, a Maryland man known as “Mr. D” claimed a $50,000 prize in the Pick 5 game after playing the lottery for five decades.

By employing a consistent strategy and sticking to a set of numbers, he managed to win big not once, but twice.

Woman wins lottery jackpot without scratching it

In another case, a woman in California recently experienced an incredible stroke of luck when she won $1 million on a scratch-off ticket, even though she didn’t scratch it.

Cornelia Treichel-Rocque, a resident of Sacramento, California, was announced as one of the three winners of the Cloud 9 scratch ticket in an October 2023 press release.

She purchased the “Cloud 9” scratch ticket at a Raley’s store in Lodi, San Joaquin County, back in October 2023.

The unusual part is that she did not scratch the ticket to see if she had won. Instead, she simply scanned the ticket’s barcode at one of the over 23,000 California Lottery retail locations.

When she scanned the ticket, Ms. Treichel-Rocque said she initially didn’t believe she had won. She had to scan the ticket three more times to confirm.

It wasn’t until she went back to the Raley’s store the next day and scanned the ticket again that she truly believed she had won the $1 million grand prize.

Even though she has become a millionaire, she continues to play the California Lottery scratch tickets.

She plans to use her winnings wisely, starting by paying off her debts.

After that, she intends to save some of the money for the future and make thoughtful investments for long-term financial stability.

In addition to handling her financial responsibilities, she is excited to use some of her winnings for fun and enjoyment. She has shared that she will take a vacation to a destination she has always dreamed of visiting.
