YouTuber Wallace makes a risky decision to leave a high-paying job
On social media, Wallace’s story begins with a viral TikTok video where he reveals that he was earning six figures.
Despite not offering proof of his salary, he expressed dissatisfaction and a desire for more. He wanted to work for Logan Paul, co-founder of the PRIME sports drink.
– Wallace flew to Cleveland to catch Paul at an event supporting his brother Jake Paul. He managed to talk his way backstage to meet Logan, hoping to impress him and secure a job.
The encounter with Logan Paul: Rejected but gained valuable advice
During the meeting, Wallace was brutally honest. He admitted that he didn’t yet have the skills Paul might be looking for. When Paul asked why he should hire Wallace, the response was candid: “I don’t really have what it takes yet.”
Paul responded by offering some tough love. He explained that Wallace should not expect handouts. “Life isn’t about handouts,” Paul said. “You’ve got to work. If you’re serious, move to LA and start making connections.”
Although Wallace didn’t get the job, he took Paul’s advice to heart. He moved forward, focusing on making content and networking in Los Angeles. Fast forward to today, and Wallace has one million followers on TikTok.
