Woman Eats Butter Every Day for 5 Years and Shares Shocking Blood Test Results
Bella, known as SteakandButtergal on YouTube and social media, abandoned her vegan diet to adopt an all-meat diet.
She believed that it would improve her autoimmune conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne, as well as her mental health, mood, and energy levels.
Not only did she switch to a carnivore diet, but she also ate an entire block of butter every single day for the past five years.
However, this unusual habit has sparked concerns about her health, particularly regarding heart disease and diabetes.
Clapping Back at Critics: “I’m Healthy and Full of Energy!”
Responding to concerns from her followers, Bella insisted that she is healthier and more energetic than ever. She emphasized that despite consuming high amounts of butter daily, her overall well-being has significantly improved.
She revealed:
- Her HDL (good cholesterol) increased from 73 to 98, which is associated with better heart health.
- Her triglycerides dropped from 97 to 15, significantly lowering her risk of heart disease and improving metabolic function.
- She remains active, exercises regularly, and feels great, claiming she has more stamina and mental clarity than before.
Bella also dismissed fears about high LDL cholesterol.
She cited board-certified heart surgeon Dr. Philip Ovadia, who argues that the ratio between triglycerides and HDL is the key factor in assessing heart health, rather than LDL levels alone.
She believes that her results prove that a high-fat, carnivore diet can be beneficial, challenging conventional dietary guidelines.
Doctors Warn: Carnivore Diet May Be Harmful
While Bella is confident in her health, many medical experts disagree. Doctors from Indiana University School of Medicine warn that a strict carnivore diet may increase the risk of kidney stones.
Dr. Howard E. Lewine from Harvard emphasizes:
- A diet high in animal fats can increase LDL (bad cholesterol)
- Higher risks of heart disease, gout, and osteoporosis
- Potential long-term health consequences
However, some experts, such as Dr. Shawn Baker and Joe Rogan, advocate for the carnivore diet, claiming it has helped with weight loss and chronic health conditions.
