A man named Michael recently made a surprising discovery that left him questioning the mysteries of life.
“A lot of people have called me a ‘time traveller’ online but I don’t know what to think.
It has to be one of the most bizarre things I’ve seen, it really does look just like me,” he shared.
While browsing through Instagram, his friends stumbled upon an old photograph, dating back 115 years.
The black and white photo from 1905 shows a young man in his early 20s sitting on a chair.
He is gazing up at his new wife, who is standing beside him. The image suggests that the couple has just married.
What caught their attention was the striking resemblance between a man in the picture and Michael himself.
Michael is passionate about the Victorian era.
Michael, a resident of Stockport in Greater Manchester, has a deep admiration for the Victorian era.
“I was sent the photo on Instagram as someone thought it was me. They’d seen it on a website for collars,” he said.
He added: “I was gobsmacked when I realised it wasn’t me, we have the same hair, face shape, nose and dress sense.
When I reverse image searched it online, I knew it wasn’t fake and was in fact taken 115 years ago.
I’ve always been obsessed with the 19th century era and have dedicated my wardrobe and lifestyle to it.
Now maybe that’s because of my past life.”
Michael has a penchant for dressing like a gentleman from that period and surrounds himself with items reminiscent of that time.
After seeing the old photograph, he noticed striking similarities in hair, facial features, and fashion between himself and the man from the past.
These resemblances led him to question if he might be a time traveler.
The revelation sparked a series of contemplations in Michael’s mind.
“Could there be a connection between me and the person in the photograph from 1905? “
“Am I a time traveler, unknowingly traversing different eras?”
Despite living in today’s world, Michael shows a strong love for the past.
He rides vintage bicycles, writes with a quill and ink, and avoids modern technology.
These old-fashioned habits make it clear that he is drawn to earlier times.

“It knocked me for six when I first clocked him I’ve never clapped eyes on anyone who’s such a dead ringer for myself.
“It’s proper eerie, like gazing at a present-day snapshot but that’s no show it isn’t me mug.
“Now I’m certain I had a trot round this world in olden times,” he affirmed.
