The revelation of America's UFO hotspot comes with nearly 2,000 reports of strange UFO sightings in the skies.

Since the mid-1990s, Maryland was supposed that America’s UFO hotspot revealed! with nearly 2,000 reported sightings of bizarre objects in the sky.

Data on these sightings has been compiled into a database, revealing that the first recorded UFO sighting in Maryland dates back to May 15, 1946. However, it wasn't officially reported until June 2017.

For many years, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) discouraged commercial pilots and civilians from reporting unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP) or unidentified flying objects (UFOs) to the agency. The FAA's guidance in its manual suggested reporting such activity to local law enforcement unless there was a concern for life or property.

In light of the increased attention on UFO sightings, NASA's UAP advisory panel has suggested that the FAA incorporate the public's reports of UFO sightings into its Aviation Safety Reporting Program. 

California is reportedly the state with the highest number of UFO sightings in the United States, with over 15,000 claims and more than 200 sightings in the current year alone.

In contrast, Maryland has recorded 1,923 UFO incidents, documented in 1,818 reports collected by a civilian UFO database. Below are some of the most compelling UFO cases reported in Maryland over the past year.

On August 5, 2023, in Baltimore, Maryland

According to a crisply recorded UFO report submitted to NUFORC, a witness observed multiple electric blue lights, some arranged in a tight triangular formation, hovering over a backyard.

The witness mentioned seeing 'at least 10 lights' during the sighting, but the 30-second video captured at most eight or nine lights.

Although the lights were supposed to resemble stars twinkling in the distance, no other stars were visible in the night sky. Towards the end of the video, the lights were observed moving slowly in unison across the sky.

The witness said:  'I started recording because I didn't think they were stars like most people thought. 'I usually look at the sky at night and never saw those before, plus they were moving slowly across the sky.'

On the evening of July 4, 2023, in Brunswick, Maryland,

People had gathered to enjoy a spectacular Independence Day fireworks display, and some residents of an apartment complex noticed an unusual phenomenon.

They observed a pair of blinking lights seemingly connected to each other, hovering in the vicinity of the local fireworks show.

According to an eyewitness who documented the incident and shared a video with NUFORC, 'This occurred during the fireworks, but it was quite evident that it wasn't fireworks or planes or helicopters in formation.'

The witness added, 'The objects appeared fairly close, not at an extremely high altitude, but they still seemed smaller than known aircraft.'

On March 19, 2023, in Perryville, Maryland

A driver in Maryland had a peculiar encounter near Jackson Station Road. 

They reported witnessing a "flat-bottomed black triangle shape" flying close to the ground, accompanied by a low wooshing sound.

The driver recounted the experience to NUFORC, saying, 'I stopped my car and rolled down the window and heard a low wooshing sound coming from it.

According to their written report, this unidentified flying object, which they simply referred to as "the shape," was observed to be flying at a low altitude and moving at a notably slow pace.
