Ashley St. Clair claims Elon Musk fathered her child
Clair has publicly revealed details about her alleged relationship with Elon Musk.
The author and conservative activist claims Musk is the father of her five-month-old child. If true, this would bring Musk’s total number of children to 13 with four different women.
St. Clair took to Twitter on February 15 to make her announcement. She stated:
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.
I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”
Ashley St. Clair reveals she was told to keep the pregnancy a secret
Following her public statement, St. Clair shared more details about her alleged relationship with Musk. In an interview with “The Post”, she claimed Musk initially reached out to her via social media.
He allegedly sent her a message that included a meme, which led to further interactions.
St. Clair says they first met in person at Twitter’s headquarters two years ago.
She described Musk as “funny” and “down to earth.” However, she claims she was instructed to keep her pregnancy a secret. According to her, she was even “asked to keep it a secret forever.”
Living in isolation during pregnancy
St. Clair also revealed that Musk arranged for her to live in an apartment in New York’s Financial District. Rental prices in the area range from $3,000 to $7,000 per month, according to Apartments.com.
She described the experience as isolating.
“Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody,” she said.
Additionally, Ashley St. Clair expresses mixed emotions about going public.
St. Clair admitted she felt forced to reveal her story because of media attention.
“I’m sad my hand was forced by the media,” she said. However, she also expressed relief, stating, “There’s a sense of relief.”
She spoke about the emotional toll of keeping the alleged relationship and pregnancy a secret.
“The primary pain is having to lie and carry this burden and secret. Lying to the people you love is the worst part,” she shared.
Despite the struggles, St. Clair says she has no regrets. “My child is the most perfect thing, and I wouldn’t change anything,” she said.
Ashley St. Clair says she will step away from social media
On February 15, after making her statement, St. Clair tweeted:
“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off-limits for journalists. Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”
As of now, Elon Musk has not publicly responded to St. Clair’s claims
