New evidence has surfaced that shows John Cena wasn't naked on the Oscar stage.

John Cena, the renowned wrestler and actor, took center stage in a way no one expected—completely stripped down (or so it seemed).

This unconventional moment unfolded during a skit with host Jimmy Kimmel.

Kimmel referenced a past Oscars incident involving a streaker, planting the seed for Cena's hilarious entrance. The 46-year-old emerged, sporting only Birkenstocks and a strategically placed envelope.

While initial speculation ran wild about Cena's actual nudity, behind-the-scenes photos revealed a strategically placed nude-colored cloth. Regardless, his willingness to commit to the bit left a lasting impression.

The reactions were mixed. Some, like Margot Robbie, found it lighthearted, while others questioned the appropriateness for a potentially young audience.

However, Cena masterfully turned the situation around.

Despite the initial shock, the WWE star later highlighted the significance of costumes in film. Image Credits: Getty

Unable to open the envelope without further exposure, he humorously emphasized the importance of costumes, cleverly linking it to the Best Costume Design award presentation. This drew even more laughter and applause.

Following Cena's captivating appearance, the ceremony transitioned smoothly into announcing the nominees for Best Costume Design, ultimately awarding the honor to Holly Waddington for her work in "Poor Things.
