Donald Trump promises severe consequences and states that he will send those who attack Elon Musk and Tesla to the world’s worst prison.
Violence against Tesla declared domestic terrorism
U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to those targeting Tesla.
He declared that any attacks on Tesla dealerships, vehicles, or facilities would be considered domestic terrorism. Perpetrators, he warned, would “go through hell.”
This statement comes amid a rise in vandalism against Tesla properties.
The violence follows Elon Musk’s growing ties to the Trump administration. As a result, the automaker’s stock rebounded nearly 4% after a steep decline the previous day.
Attacks on Tesla properties surge across the U.S.
Someone has attacked Tesla showrooms, charging stations, and private vehicles.
The incidents have increased since Musk was named head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
This department has aggressively cut federal spending, saving around $155 billion as of March 19.
Some Americans oppose these budget cuts. Many believe the spending reductions harm public services.
In response, vandals are targeting Tesla properties, particularly in left-leaning cities like Portland and Seattle.
Vandalism and arson incidents escalate
Recent attacks have been severe. In Las Vegas, multiple Tesla vehicles were set on fire outside a service center on March 18.

Vandals also spray-painted the word “resist” across the building’s entrance.
Authorities have linked these acts to domestic terrorism. U.S.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that three suspects face up to 20 years in prison for their involvement.
“The days of committing crimes without consequence have ended,” Bondi said in a statement. “Let this be a warning: if you join this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties, the Department of Justice will put you behind bars.”
Trump suggests sending Tesla attackers to world’s worst prison El salvador prisons
Trump doubled down on his stance via TruthSocial on March 21.
He wrote: “I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20 year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla. Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!”
Additionally, he also called the vandals “sick terrorist thugs” and said they deserved 20-year sentences.
He even suggested sending them to El Salvador’s notorious prisons.
El Salvador’s prison system is infamous for its harsh conditions.
A recent facility, designed to hold 40,000 inmates, has been described as one of the world’s worst.
Trump recently sent 250 alleged criminals there. He has repeatedly praised Tesla, calling it “a great American company.” He recently purchased a Tesla for himself, signaling strong support for Musk.
With federal authorities now treating Tesla attacks as domestic terrorism, consequences for perpetrators are severe.
