One person said: I don’t think it’s creepy at all. If we could manage it, I’d love to have all my children & grandchildren living in giant, swanky compound, strengthening family connections through generations.

A second wrote: I think its convenient, it’s a huge property.

While a third commented: Not a bad idea. This way they all stay together, it’s big enough to have a house each.

Another added: What’s wrong with the kids being friendly and living close?

According to four insiders who spoke to The New York Times, Musk bought the estate so his family could live in “adjoining properties.” This arrangement allows him to “schedule time” with his youngest kids. However, not all of Musk’s ex-partners may support this plan.

Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk’s brain technology startup Neuralink, has reportedly moved into one of the mansions on the compound. Musk and Zilis welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, two years ago, and they have a third child born earlier this year.

Musk often warns that depopulation is one of the “biggest threats” facing the world. He has built his $270 billion fortune primarily through renewable ventures. His rocket company, SpaceX, recently achieved a milestone by successfully catching its Starship rocket with mechanical arms. Meanwhile, Tesla has become the world’s most valuable car company.

Recently, Musk relocated to Pennsylvania to assist Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. However, when he is in Texas, he frequently stays in a mansion just a ten-minute walk from his new family compound.

The $35 million estate is said to resemble Tuscan villas. It includes a main house and at least one six-bedroom mansion in the back. Musk’s intention was to have all three mothers of his children move into the enclave along with his eleven kids. However, due to his complex family dynamics, some relatives may choose not to participate.

While his goal is to create a supportive family environment, the public’s response has been largely critical.

Many view the situation as reminiscent of cult-like behavior.
