Specialists from the Wildlife and Nature Conservation Society (WNCT) were on the scene and removed the snake from the residential area and released it into the Anaikatti forest. According to LiveScience, the snake emerged after heavy rain in the area.

According to the WNCT representative, capturing snakes safely is crucial due to their highly venomous nature. Mishandling snakes could result in serious consequences, including paralysis or even death, as their venom requires prompt treatment. Therefore, it is essential to handle snakes with great care.

Animals with albinism are unable to produce melanin, the pigment responsible for the color of skin, feathers, fur, or scales due to a genetic disorder. Many albino animals lack pigment in their irises, so their eyes are pale pink or reddish. In some cases, albino animals suffer from reduced vision or complete blindness, and their skin is easily sunburned.

According to the World Health Organization, between 81,000 and 138,000 people die from snakebites in India every year.

Earlier, an albino cobra was found at a rice mill in Sironcha, Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra state. Snake catcher Naeem Shaikh was sent to the rescue.

The number of snake incidents in cities is increasing as snakes' natural habitat shrinks, he said.
