According to Tommy Cimato from Arizona, he explained that while people may want to be comfortable while flying, wearing shorts is a big no-no.

He posted a video on the TikTok account @tommycimato. The video highlighted the top five air travel etiquette tips, including bathroom habits and sleeping on red-eye flights. And shorts are a big no-no.
He said: 'Don't or try not to wear shorts when you're on an airplane. It's the same thing as the window. You never know how clean it's gonna be, so if you have pants, you're gonna have less germ'.
'It's honestly just super unsanitary and pretty gross, so when you flush, use a napkin or tissue that's in the lavatory.'

And he added: 'Don't forget to drink water. Stay hydrated. You wanna have about 16oz for every flight you go on, so keep that in mind.'
Tommy, offered other tips, cautioning passengers against falling asleep or resting their heads on the window. He pointed out that it's unknown how many individuals, including children, may have touched or smeared things on the window.
He continued: "Don't feel afraid to let a flight attendant know if you're feeling sick. So if you need food, water, or an air sickness bag, please feel free to let us know."
On his TikTok channel, Tommy regularly shares videos about air travel. In one of his videos, he revealed various things, including what people have said to flight attendants.
However, Tommy is not the only person who shares content about flying. Another individual, Kat Kamalani, also actively posts videos on her TikTok account (@katkamalani), offering insights into the life of a flight attendant.
She covers a wide range of topics, including travel etiquette, what not to do while traveling, and the specialized language used by staff on board.

She explained that it is incredibly unsafe for crew members to walk to a seat during that time, as it can lead to 'serious consequences.'
In her video shared on TikTok, she said, 'This drives flight attendants absolutely bonkers, and we usually won't even respond to it until it is safe.;
'The reason being that it's a huge safety issue for us and we can get injured, and same with [the passengers],' she said.
'So when we're on the tarmac, you hit this and it's not some type of emergency, we're going straight back to our seat.'
