An influencer tragically falls to their death from one of the world’s tallest bridges while taking photos for an Instagram post.
A tragic incident has occurred involving a young British influencer named Lewis Stevenson, who died after falling from one of the tallest bridges in Spain.
Lewis was only 26 years old and had gained popularity on social media for his daring stunts and urban climbing adventures.

The accident took place on October 13, 2023, when Lewwis attempted to climb the Castilla-La Mancha bridge, which stands at a height of 192 meters.
This bridge is located outside Talavera de la Reina in Spain.
Lewis was trying to scale the bridge without any safety equipment, hoping to capture an impressive photo for his Instagram followers.
Unfortunately, during the climb, Lewis lost his grip and fell. His body was discovered the following morning at around 7:14 a.m.
Local authorities confirmed that he suffered severe head injuries from the fall, which led to his death.
The influencer is famous for a passion for ‘rooftopping’
Lewis Stevenson was well-known for his passion for “rooftopping,” a term that refers to climbing on top of tall buildings and structures.
He often shared his adventures on Instagram, where he went by the username “expedition.”
His posts included thrilling photos of him atop iconic landmarks in cities such as New York and London.
Despite repeated warnings from local officials about the dangers of climbing the Castilla-La Mancha bridge, Lewis decided to proceed with his attempt.
His grandfather, Clifford Stevenson, said the family tried to stop him from risky activities, but Lewis remained adventurous.
“We all tried to talk him out of it. We were always trying to talk him out of doing things, but that was the way he was.”
His family and friends were devastated after his tragical death
The news of Lewis’s death has left his family and friends heartbroken.
His girlfriend, Savannah Parker, described the experience as a “nightmare.”
She shared their last conversation, where Lewis told her, “Good night, I love you,” before the incident.
She was in contact with him on the morning of the accident but did not fully grasp the situation until later in the day.
Savannah recalled joining Lewis on similar adventures, including a trip to Malta where they explored an abandoned building together.
She admitted feeling scared but went along with him out of love and support.
“I was so scared of making one wrong move,” she said.
Lewis’s friends also expressed their grief and shared tributes on social media.
One friend wrote about how Lewis was the “bravest, most caring, and funny person” he had ever known.
Another friend mentioned how Lewis had inspired him to embrace a sense of freedom in his life.
The influencer ignored the local authorities’ warnings multiple times.
Local authorities had previously issued strict warnings against accessing the Castilla-La Mancha bridge.
Macarena Munoz, a local councillor, said bridge climbing was prohibited and emphasized repeated warnings.
Despite these alerts, Lewis chose to ignore them in pursuit of creating exciting content for his followers.
This decision ultimately led to a tragic accident.
“Climbing the bridge is totally prohibited and which we have reiterated on many occasions cannot be done under any circumstances,” Macarena said.
The inquest and investigation are ongoing currently.
An inquest into Lewis Stevenson’s death was opened on December 3, 2024, at Derby Coroner’s Court.
Assistant Coroner Sabyta Kaushal confirmed that the cause of death was blunt force head injuries from the fall.
The inquest has been adjourned for further investigation, with a final hearing scheduled once all inquiries are completed.
