Jeff Bezos experienced an awkward moment at Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s exclusive Oscars afterparty.
The Amazon founder, 61, lost his footing as he arrived at LA’s Chateau Marmont on Sunday night.
Bezos stumbles upon arrival
Bezos attended the high-profile event with fiancée Lauren Sanchez and pop icon Katy Perry.
As he stepped out of his car, his legs buckled beneath him. A quick-thinking valet helped him regain his balance.
The billionaire, worth an estimated $227 billion, wore a sharp black velvet suit. Sanchez, 55, dazzled in a strapless white gown with feathered details. Perry, 40, stunned in a mirrored strappy dress.
Previously, Bezos also proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 during a romantic trip to the South of France.
The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in early 2019.
Demi Moore’s disappointment at the Oscars
Demi Moore suffered a crushing defeat as Mikey Madison won Best Actress at the 2025 Oscars.
Moore, 62, was a favorite to win for *The Substance*. However, 25-year-old Madison took the trophy for her performance in Anora.
As Madison’s name was announced, Moore’s reaction was tense. She clenched her jaw but managed to mutter ‘nice’ as she applauded.
The upset was surprising since Moore had won at multiple major pre-Oscar events.
At the 2025 Oscars, Anora dominates with five awards.
Anora emerged as the big winner of the night, taking home five awards, including Best Picture.
The film’s director, Sean Baker, won Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Achievement in Film Editing.
The film follows Ani, a Brooklyn escort who impulsively marries a Russian oligarch’s son. When his powerful parents learn of the marriage, they rush to New York to annul it.
