A detail on Katy Perry’s space suit during the Blue Origin mission has fueled conspiracy theories about a supposed satanic ritual.

Katy Perry recently took part in a Blue Origin space flight that has generated a lot of buzz.

However, some people are making strange claims about the mission, suggesting it was part of a “satanic ritual.”

These theories center around the design of the mission patch that Perry and the other crew members wore.

The mission patch included symbols that were meant to represent each woman on the flight.

Some conspiracy theorists have claimed that one of these symbols resembles Baphomet, a figure often linked to occult practices.

Baphomet is depicted as a goat-headed figure and is associated with various mystical and satanic beliefs.

Social media users pointed out that if you flipped the patch upside down, it appeared to show this demonic figure.

This led to heated discussions online, with many claiming that Blue Origin was mocking religious beliefs.

Critics stated that this was not just a space mission but a ritual of some sort.

Reactions from social media users

Comments on platforms like X (formerly Twitter) have been intense.

Some users expressed their outrage, saying things like, “This isn’t science, it’s a ritual.”

Others pointed to the number of women involved, suggesting that the mission had a deeper, darker meaning.

“Did you notice the logo on Katy Perry and her fellow Blue Origin Space travelers’ patch is the satanic goat with an upside-down cross if you flip it over?” a user shared on X.

One user even connected Katy Perry’s actions before the launch, such as placing her hand over the patch, to the alleged ritual.

They claimed this was a form of allegiance to the supposed symbol of Baphomet.

“Katy Perry swearing her allegiance by placing her hand adoringly & lovingly over her Baphomet logo. They tell you in so many ways who they worship,” they posted.

One user said: To understand how the world works you need to understand symbology, symbols & rituals…don’t forget these satanists who have sold their souls for wealth and fame have a debt to pay…

The second user wrote: Satanic rituals, narcissism. Two much over used attempts at getting attention.

The third user added: Not a surprise she’s on video somewhere mentioning she sold her soul to them. It’s out there just google it.

The fourth user commented: Rather like King Charles’ portrait. “Hidden” symbolism produces the satisfaction of taunting the public with whatever “they” believe in, or an Agenda. This one is extremely obvious.

The danger & important thing isn’t what Satanists believe – it’s that whether `fantasy’ or otherwise – its their adherences act “from” the tenets / rituals of Satanism.

Blue Origin responded to the ‘satan theory’

In response to the rising conspiracy theories, Blue Origin clarified the meaning behind the symbols on the patch.

The design featured a spaceship in the center, surrounded by other elements like fireworks and a film reel.

Each symbol was chosen to reflect the individual contributions of the crew members.

For example, the firework symbol was chosen to honor Katy Perry’s influence in music and pop culture.

Other symbols represented the accomplishments of the other women on board, including a microphone for journalist Gayle King and scales of justice for activist Amanda Nguyen.

Blue Origin emphasized that the patch was designed to celebrate the achievements of women, not to promote any occult beliefs.

The company wanted to highlight the significance of the mission in a positive light.

The Blue Origin flight lasted about 11 minutes and took the crew 62 miles above Earth.

During this time, the women experienced weightlessness for a few minutes.

While many celebrated this achievement, critics raised concerns about the environmental impact of such space travel.

Environmental concerns about space tourism arise.

Among the critics is Emily Ratajkowski, who voiced her disgust over the mission.

She argued that while some people are enjoying space travel, many face serious challenges on Earth.

Her comments reflect a growing sentiment that space tourism is a luxury that should be questioned, especially in light of pressing global issues.

As Blue Origin and other companies push for more space tourism, the debate over its ethical implications is likely to continue.

The focus on celebrity space travel raises concerns about priorities and resources.
