A man celebrated his birthday by ordering the biggest Burger King Whopper ever, stacked with 36 beef patties.
A passionate Burger King fan has taken his love for the fast-food chain to new heights by ordering what could be the UK’s largest Whopper.
Craig Harker, a pub landlord, uniquely celebrated his 36th birthday.
Instead of a traditional cake, he opted for a towering burger with one patty for each year of his life.
Man celebrates his birthday by ordering biggest Burger King Whopper ever
Craig, known for his love of massive meals, decided to celebrate his birthday in style.
He ordered a standard Whopper and requested an additional 35 beef patties, bringing the total to 36.
The result was a mammoth burger that quickly gained attention for its size.
This wasn’t Craig’s first attempt at creating oversized fast-food items.
Last year, he convinced Greggs to make their biggest-ever bacon sandwich, packing it with 50 rashers of bacon.
In both cases, the restaurants were happy to accommodate Craig’s outlandish requests.
At his local Burger King drive-thru, staff were more than willing to take on the challenge of creating the UK’s biggest Whopper.
They expertly stacked the 36 patties and asked Craig if he needed anything else with his meal.
The total for this colossal burger came to $71,52, including $11 for the original meal and an additional $1,74 for each extra patty.
Craig described the Whopper as so heavy it felt like “going to the gym” just to hold it.
When he unwrapped the burger, it was dripping with grease, making it clear that this was no ordinary fast food meal.
Dressed in elasticated jeans, which he humorously referred to as “pregnancy pants for men,” Craig braced himself to tackle the burger.
However, despite his best efforts, he only managed to eat 12 of the 36 patties.
He admitted that continuing any further would have made him feel sick, though he considered it a solid attempt given the sheer size of the burger.
Craig shared the remaining two-thirds of the Whopper with his friends and family.
He followed the birthday tradition of not finishing the entire cake alone.
Burger King responded to the challenge
While the Burger King app typically limits customers to adding eight extra patties, Craig decided to push the boundaries by placing his order in person.
His bold approach paid off, and the restaurant successfully fulfilled his request.
A spokesperson for Burger King commented on Craig’s incredible order, stating:
“We always encourage customers to have it their way – whatever and however that may be.
Thanks to Craig for choosing the Home of the Whopper to create his almighty birthday burger.”
