Toco's unusual hobby has gained him large followers on social media, with many of his fans finding his behavior 'adorable' and supporting his desire to live out his dream of being a dog.
However, some have criticized Toco's action as 'disturbing' and argue that his behavior should not be normalized.
Interestingly, Toco has now found another individual who shares his passion for dressing up as a dog.
This person has worn a hyper-realistic dog suit, and the two have been filmed playing together, with Toco even teaching his new canine friend the command "roll over."
In a statement, Toko revealed that he had wanted to be a dog since childhood.
Since childhood, Toko had a strong desire to become an animal, especially a cute, quadrupedal creature like a dog.
After considering various options, he decided that a Collie dog would be the most realistic and appealing animal for him to emulate.
Toko hired a Janpanse company called Zeppet, which specializes in creating costumes and props for movies and commercials, to build his sophisticated Collie dog costume.
The costume was incredibly detailed and realistic, allowing Toko to mimic the appearance and movements of an actual Collie dog.
However, Toko has had difficulties enjoying his unique hobby.
He can only wear his costume at special times or at home because he doesn't want his friends, coworkers, or others to know about his dog's side.
Toko fears people would think his wish to be a dog is weird or unnatural.
Even though Toko kept it secret, his family was surprised at first but ended up backing his decision to become a dog.
This is not the first time an individual spent a huge amount of money to become an animal.
Previously, a Japanese man also spent $20,000 to own an "ultra-realistic" wolf costume.
The costume was created by the Japanese company Zeppet, one of the famous costume design companies in Japan that often provides costumes for films and TV commercials.
According to the report, the wolf costume took about 50 days to complete, involving countless elaborate steps to create the "ultra-realistic" final product.
Zeppet claimed that creating this costume was extraordinary, as they had to study images of the wolf for a remarkable amount of time to design it perfectly in every single detail.
The anonymous customer mentioned that the team at Zeppet offered him lost of ideas. They looked at many wolf pictures to get every detail right.
When he got the outfit, he felt emotional because his dream from childhood had finally happened.
He said he often watched realistic animal costumes on TV and had dreamed of becoming one of them.
