A mother discovered red fluid in her 4-year-old’s Burger King meal, which shocked her and raised concerns about food safety.
After purchasing a meal for her 4-year-old, she discovered a troubling red fluid in the food.
This chilling find has raised concerns about food safety and restaurant practices.
Tiffany Floyd, a local resident, shared a harrowing account of her recent visit to the fast-food chain.
Mom suddenly discovers blood in her daughter Burger King meal
According to Floyd, she took her 4-year-old daughter to the Burger King drive-thru on a Friday afternoon.
After receiving their order, the mother immediately noticed the food’s appearance and became alarmed.
“All I heard was, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup,’
So I grabbed her bag, thinking that they messed up our order again,
I looked and there was just blood all over her hamburger, all over the wrapper,” Floyd recounted.
Based on her claims, the ‘red fluid’ covering the bag and the food appeared to be blood, not the expected tomato ketchup.
Tiffany immediately told her daughter to spit out the food she had already consumed.
She inspected her own meal and found it covered in a mysterious red substance.
“And then I looked at my meal, and there was blood on mine too.”
The red fluid in Burger King order has been clarified
Fearing for their safety, the mother and child quickly left the restaurant.
When Tiffany returned to Burger King and spoke with the manager, she discovered that a cook had cut his hand.
This injury resulted in the contamination of the customers’ meals.
The manager apologized profusely and refunded the meal, but the damage had already occurred.
Tiffany’s daughter now faces a 30-day wait to see a pediatrician and will need to undergo regular blood work for a year to ensure no health issues arise from the incident.
“She did have fries and a bit of her hamburger,” Floyd stated.
“And then get her blood work done every so often for a year to see if something comes up.”
Tiffany believes the restaurant should have acted more quickly by requiring the injured employee to get tested.
She feels this would have prevented exposing customers to potential health risks.
Burger King responds on the matter
In a statement, Burger King expressed deep concern over the situation and said they have been in contact with the customer to resolve the issue.
The restaurant was temporarily closed to retrain all staff and conduct deep cleaning.
“We were deeply upset and concerned to learn of this incident.
We have been in contact with the Guest and are working with her to resolve this incident,” the statement read.

This happened to me once at a Wendy’s in Nashville. I noticed it on the bun & the wrapper as I went to take a bite. They tried to tell me it was ketchup & asked if I wanted it remade

If I were her, I would sue Burger King, the second user commented.
I’ve seen a few burgers with red sauce on, the third user said.
I stopped going to Burger King since they always want to give me raw bacon, another wrote.
