In a terrifying incident, passengers aboard a United Airlines flight were left in shock when one of the plane's wings appeared to "come apart" during the flight, forcing an emergency landing.
The unsettling event took place on Monday, February 20, as the flight from San Francisco to Boston had to divert to Denver.
One passenger whose named Kimberly Clarke, took to Facebook to share a video captured by her husband, Kevin Clarke, who was one of the 165 passengers on the Boeing 757-200 flight.
In the recorded video, Kevin expresses his anxiety as he describes the alarming situation unfolding before them.
He mentions that as they were approaching the landing in Denver, they noticed the wing of the plane coming apart.
The flight landed safely
Kevin said the wing had cracked since they took off in San Francisco. Fortunately, the flight finally landed in Denver, and all 165 passengers were safe.
The male passenger reported that he heard an unusually loud vibration during takeoff, making him look out the window and notice that one of the wings did not appear normal.
Just an hour later, the pilot announced that the airline had discovered damage to one of the front flaps and would be diverting the flight.
In addition, some other passengers on the flight also recounted their panic when their lives were hanging in the sky due to a plane wing almost 'coming apart'.
