Brianna Alvelo, 22, delivered a pizza to the Riviera Motel in Kissimmee. After the pregnant customer gave her a $2 tip, Alvelo returned with a masked companion.
She then violently attacked the customer, taking the customer’s life in front of her 5-year-old daughter.

The customer had given Alvelo a $50 bill for a $33 pizza order.
When Alvelo could not provide change, the customer gave her $2. This seemingly minor incident escalated when Alvelo returned to the motel with a weapon.
At the time of the attack, the victim was at the motel celebrating a birthday with her boyfriend and young daughter.
Security footage showed Alvelo’s red Toyota returning about 90 minutes after the delivery.

Alvelo and her accomplice, armed with a gun, shouted for them to leave. The two fled the scene before police arrived, and the victim was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.
Police arrest Alvelo; her accomplice remains at Large
Police tracked down Alvelo the following day.
She was charged with attempted murder, home invasion, assault, and kidnapping. However, her accomplice, who carried a gun during the attack, remains unidentified.
