A waitress felt like she had just the jackpot when a customer left a generous tip for her service, but things quickly turned sour when the tipper asked for the money back.

A waitress in Scranton, Pennsylvania, initially seemed like a dream come true, but things quickly turned sour.

The incident occurred at Alfredo's Cafe last year. A waitress was shocked after spotting over $3,000 in service had been added to a $13 bill. However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the tipper asked for the money back. Now, the restaurant is taking the customer to court.

Lambert felt grateful to the customer when she received such a significant amount. However, everything turned into a failure after the tipper asked her to give the money back.

Then, the restaurant and the customer engaged in a heated back-and-forth. Both of them decided to take the matter to court for dispute resolution.

At the show 'The Office', the Pennsylvania restaurant left numerous viewers shocked after revealing that they were suing a customer who had tipped Mariana Lambert, a hardworking waitress at Alfredo's Pizza Cafe located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with a significant amount of over $3,000.

However, the customer later requested the money back. Now, the restaurant has no choice but to take legal action.

The incident occurred when Smith ordered a Stromboli that cost just $13.25. He charged the item on his credit card and added over $3,000 tip to the bill, and wrote: 'Tips For Jesus.'

Lambert was touched when she received the huge tips. She said: It really touched my heart. I still can't believe it. I'm still in shock."

Emphasize the lack of response from Smith, leading the restaurant to involve the magistrate's office and file charges.

However, the incident turned worse when Alfredo's Cafe manager, Zachary Jacobson tried to contact Eric Smith through Facebook, but he answered.

According to  Zachary Jacobson, the restaurant has received a dispute from Eric Smith regarding the charge for the tip he had left.

The restaurant initially communicated with Smith, hoping for a misunderstanding, and started communicating with him through Facebook. They wanted to resolve the incident amicably. However, their effort was a failure when Smith remained unresponsive.

The manager's restaurant expected that Smith would take responsibility for his actions and recover the  $3,000 they ended up losing

Then Alfredo's Cafe faced to find the magistrate's office and file charges against Smith. Three months have passed, and no resolution has been reached.

The restaurant is now hoping to win the case and recover the $3,000 they had already paid to Lambert, which they ended up losing.
