Lily Stewart’s mugshot goes viral after her arrest
A sorority student gained internet fame after her smiling mugshot went viral.
Now, she is back in the spotlight following a second arrest.
Lily Stewart, a 20-year-old University of Georgia student, first made headlines after police released her glamorous mugshot.

However, she had been arrested earlier this month for speeding.
Her confident smile in the photo earned her nicknames like ‘Miss America’ and ‘mugshot shawty’ on social media.
Stewart arrested again for obstruction and loitering
Stewart has now been arrested for a second time.
According to records from the Athens-Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, she was charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling.
Additionally, police reports obtained by TMZ state that officers responded to an intrusion alarm around 3 a.m. on March 23.
They discovered Stewart and three other students near the scene. When officers approached, the group attempted to flee.
All were quickly detained, except for Stewart, who hid behind a brick wall near the school’s football stadium.
Stewart’s response to police after being caught
When police questioned Stewart, she admitted why she ran.
“I didn’t want to get caught doing anything bad because I am out on bond right now,” she reportedly said.
She also added, “Was it the trespassing? Truly, that was actually my fault.”
Officers noted that there was no indication she had been drinking. Another student claimed they were simply trying to return to their sorority house.
Since both charges were misdemeanors, Stewart was released the same morning. She posted a $4,600 bond.
