Jack Sweeney, a 21-year-old who is famous for tracking celebrities' private jets, started tracking the private jets of Travis Kelce's girlfriend.
According to the report, Jack Sweeney, a student running the account solely dedicated to Swift's flight activities, has faced media scrutiny regarding Swift's carbon emissions.
After realizing that Jack Sweeney tracked her, Taylor was reported to have issued a ‘cease and desist’ letter to the owner of the account with a legal letter sent to Jack saying: "We are aware of your public disputes with other high-profile individuals and your tactics in those interactions, including offering to stop your harmful behavior only in exchange for items of value.
"While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client. Ms. Swift has dealt with stalkers and other individuals who wish her harm."
After receiving a 'cease and desist' letter from Taylor Swift, a man who tracked the pop star's private jets online has responded.
In response to the cease-and-desist, Sweeney emphasized that his constant updates on the singer's flight movements were driven by the goal of transparency and providing public information regarding carbon emissions.
Additionally, Jack Sweeney pointed out the contradiction between headlines criticizing Swift's jet use and carbon emissions and her team's previous statement.
He added: "These statements contradict each other, much like her team’s response to owning a single jet, which has only been true for the past two weeks."
Sweeney is still refusing to drop the subject of the singer’s carbon footprint, as he asked: "Why is her team not responding to my correspondence or anything regarding the points on the emissions?"
While Sweeney's focus appears to be on Taylor Swift, it is worth noting that she did not rank among the top 30 celebrities who used their jets the most last year. Travis Scott claimed the top spot, closely followed by Kim Kardashian.
Furthermore, Swift has purchased more than double the necessary carbon credits to offset all of her travel, including her tours.
