On social media, a TikToker has shocked viewers with an experiment involving a McDonald's Big Mac.

Unbelievably, she decided to conduct the same experiment with a side salad.

The TikToker, Naa Adjeley Tsofanye, a medical herbalist, initiated this experiment with a Big Mac and fries on February 2nd.

A year and three weeks later, Tsofanye showed the Big Mac on camera, noting the absence of mould. She highlighted the lettuce, which was still a deep green after a year.

She said: 'This lettuce from this Big Mac is actually quite a serious deep green.'

The video depicted her peeling the lettuce from the hardened piece of meat, where she observed that it still retained some moisture and hadn't entirely dried out

Tsofanye expressed her disbelief at these findings, stating, 'Can you see the shine on my gloves? There is still some moisture in it - it hasn't entirely dried out,' she said.

'I don't think it's normal,' she added: 'I really think that's crazy. It is so crazy. Look at that.'

Additionally, Tsofanye plans to investigate McDonald's Big Mac fast food further.

She intends to monitor the Big Mac lettuce on a separate piece of white paper and conduct a similar experiment with a side salad from McDonald's.

She aims to determine whether the lettuce's longevity is due to the lettuce itself or the environment in which it was kept.

The TikToker's food experiment left many viewers stunned and sparked debate on social media

Some expressed fear and vowed never to eat McDonald's again, while others found humor in the situation.

One person said: I doubt that. The lecture generally isn’t even green by the time I get it home.

A second wrote: What the lady is trying to say that the meat and lettuce are artificial products.

While a third commented: That's true !! I told my patient the same thing even the cheese is fake glossy like .

Another added: Trying to complain about McDonald’s is so pointless. We all know it’s filled with preservatives.

Someone else said: You gotta have that strong Incredible Hulk stomach. If not, you best not even think about eating Mickey D’s. I’m getting hungry just thinking bout it.

This isn't the first time McDonald's food has shown an intact condition after prolonged non-consumption

Previously, Jennifer Lovdahl, a chiropractor from Anchorage, Alaska, left viewers stunned after showing what McDonald's food looked like after being kept for six years.

She kept a McDonald's meal for six years to demonstrate the potential unhealthiness of fast food.

Lovdahl shared her findings on Facebook, remarking, "It's been six years since I purchased this 'Happy Meal' from McDonald's. It's remained at our office untouched and hasn't rotted, molded, or decomposed. It only smells like cardboard."
